As the second quarter of 2024 comes to a close, we're taking a look at the performance of the top cryptocurrency apps in Australia on the Android platform. Data from Sensor Tower has given us a clear overview of downloads and weekly active users to gauge the popularity of these apps.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting at 1.5K and peaking at nearly 2K in early June, before dropping to 1.2K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users began at 59K and experienced a similar fluctuation, ending at 32K.

Crypto.com - Buy Bitcoin, ETH experienced a downward trend in downloads, from 1.8K to just over 1K, while weekly active users decreased from 26K to 19K.

CoinSpot - Buy & Sell Bitcoin, an app with Australian roots, maintained a relatively stable download count, starting at 1.6K and ending the quarter at 1.1K. Weekly active users remained impressively high, starting at 91K and slightly decreasing to 95K.

GoMining showed a mixed revenue trend, with notable peaks at 4K USD in early June. Downloads began at 976 and peaked at 1.4K in mid-June, with weekly active users increasing from 1.2K to over 2.2K.

Bybit: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw downloads decline from 1K to 798, while weekly active users showed a slight upward trend, from 3.5K to 3.8K, and then dipping to 3.6K in the last week of June.
